How did Neteller's kaput affect you?

Well, since I finally got home, I got a better tally of how Neteller's closure to US gaming has affected me:

- I have $4,900 in Neteller, which can now be used to purchase exactly nothing. Withdrawals to my bank account are pending, but word has it these could take weeks.

- I have roughtly $8000 in withdrawal requests from slow casinos to neteller accounts that stalled, withdrawals which I have reversed and which I am attempting to get rerouted to click2pay or some other method.

- I also have a $55 instadebit withdrawal that may have disappered during the brief window of a few hours when it was kind of sort of supported after the neteller closure.

So, uh, all in all, I'd say this is pretty damn annoying.

very annoying, I also have 4900 and change pending from neteller, they said a couple of weeks. I have 4200 in a casino account, I just requested a check for 2700, dont know how long that will take either. Does anyone know if banks will cash checks from casinos?

I have about $1500 in EFT withdraws. Just going to wait it out. But on a side note, how did you guys make so much money? I thought I played all the good bonuses which were about 15, did you play like a lot more than 15? Did you find a way to play the same bonus multiple times?

Starting in let's say august, I did the good bonuses. Then I did the medium bonuses. Then I did the poor but still profitable bonuses. Then I did the stickies that were only profitable if you played aggressive, then I found lots of recurring bonuses RTG that were profitable if you played aggressive, and started beating them like a rented goalie.

So I guess the secret, in one word, would be "volume".

And then neteller shut down.

I have a total of 110 dollars in pending EFT's trying to make it to my bank. I anticipated a situation like this, and roughly 2 weeks prior to neteller refusing US customer's serivice, I withdrew all my money from every casino(book) to neteller, and then all of my neteller balance to my bank.

In the meantime I made a 60 dollar deposit and won 50 dollars from it, so I only have 110 in. I assume that I will get it, but if I don't I think I'll live. That's why I pulled out a few weeks ago, I had enough money tied up online that it would be a severe hit if it all dissapeared suddenly. And with the current online climate, I had to pull out. I'm glad I picked the perfect time to do so.

I bonused up on 3 casinos , total $600, the rest I made was 7k, the other money was in poker.

My winnings came from a system I was using and we know there are a million "systems" out there that ultimately fail and mine may be no different but I have not seen a system like mine either. It was just something I noticed a long time ago in my card counting days. It survived 25k hands which is not much (only played for 6 weeks) but I dont know if I will ever get to test it out for I do not like making casino trips and it is more ideal for online play anyway , oh well good luck to you all

this is true, i'm just finishing a 160k wagering requirment online and am $1800 ahead of where i should be, the long term in blackjack is very far away. after betting approx. 130k, you'd think i'd be where i expect to be, but no, i'm nowhere near that.

I can play up to 550 hands per hour, the more hands the better by theory. I cant play that many hands in a casino in an hour, not even close to that heads up

Although proffesionals always play in casino because thats is where you can get the advantage via card counting

When playing at a disadvantage, in theory, the less hands per hour the better. That's what my blackjack knowledge tells me...

Very true, but the answer was in response to a question why I prefer online play and with my system (if it does work) by theory it would benefit most from a high volume of hands played

Irrespective of of online systems (I prefer straight bonus-hustling), I realized that if I actually manage to get all of this temporarily stranded money, then bonus hustling will have been almost 10x as lucrative over the last few months as card counting.

If I don't get paid anything, then it will be break even.

Well, looks like click2pay doesn't accept new US customers, but it seems to be working for me. I think I'm going to have to keep my balance in there pretty damn small so I don't repeat my neteller mistake.

Who cares! It doesn't really matter if it's a progression, trend analysis, or anything like that does it? Maybe it's just me, but I am not in the least bit interested in hearing about the system...

yep, i second this.
theres no such thing as patterns in any game, only inexperience. play long enough and you'll realize that. i've seen everything from many hands lost in a row, many won, alternating, and everything in between. there is no intuition. there are no patterns, only math. play long enough and you'll realize that the math works out perfectly. i haven't heard of a single person who actually makes a living using a betting system. and i think scott is right, i don't really care what he has to say, i'll tell you right now that it is bullshit.

Back on subject (kinda?), while neteller funds are still locked up tighter than a <insert dirty metaphor here>, I've requested a withdrawal from my click2pay account, which had grown to a few grand. They're processing it as a manual wire withdrawal, and I'm cautiously optimistic that it will actually reach my bank account. It's important, because I've done so little "profit-taking" from online hustling, that I'm still running a bit of a loss in "real" money.

I had ~$500 tied up in Neteller at the time of the closure to US players. Since then my balance increased to ~$700 for an unknown reason, as all transactions were denied. The money is still tied up with Neteller. I have not attempted a withdrawal.

The one bright spot in the Neteller fiasco for me was ~$2500 in attempted fraudulent charges, which occurred a few days after the US changes. All of the attempted transactions were denied, so there were no lost funds.

No real point in attempting a neteller withdrawal, they are not going anywhere. There will probably be a press release or something when the funds become unfrozen.

I was able to get a withdrawal successfully processed from click2pay (which was greater than my neteller balance was) so that took a lot of the emotional and financial sting out of it.
