How much do I bet?

Having trouble tracking down this information. How do you adjust your bets based on the count if you're playing a 6-deck shoe? I read that you should bet an extra unit for each +1 but that doesn't seem logical with so many decks. Is that the right way to do it? Also, wouldn't that be a clear sign you're counting?

It would be if the pit boss was standing next to you counting.
No offense, but you have a lot more work to do before hitting a casino and winning. Most systems would have you divide the count by the number of decks left to be played. Six decks left with a count of plus 6 is the same as one deck left with a count of plus one. Five decks left with a count of plus ten9ie-running count) translates into a True Count of plus two.
You need to learn Running Counts and True Counts. The ability to translate a Running Count into a True Count is essential to long term success.

I've been using KO system with the understanding that I don't need to divide by the remaining decks. That's what drew my concerns about betting units x count since the count tends to be higher anyway.

Maybe a better way to ask this is "How do I bet using the KO system?"

I'm not trying to be a wiseass, but why not bet according to the pattern laid out in KO Blackjack?
