how often do you calculate the rc to tc?

If playing a 6d shoe do you find the tc say after 1 deck is dealt and if so, do you find it after every additional deck is dealt?

every time you have to make a playing or betting decision you should calculate the TC

some people use different amounts of precision when they are calculating TC. Some use 1/4 decks, some use half decks, some divide by full decks and round down.

Either way, the Truest count you can get is (52 x Running Count) / # Cards remaining to be played.

(52 x Running Count) / # Cards unseen (or unknown)

Unseen cards are cards not only in the shoe (including those after the cut card - even when they don't get played), dealer hole cards, and cards in players hand (if handheld game) and burned cards.

Of course when dealer flip cards, those cards become known and should be counted.

Point 2:

The purpose of the sims was to show that all the INFORMATION we have when we are counting cards is contained in the running count and the number of unseen cards. Point 3:
The TC theorem has nothing to do with the sim results. The sim results are so because the information you have with card counting is contained in the running count and the number of unseen cards (TC divisor) The TC is the same because your RC and DIVISOR DON'T CHANGE when you miss cards during a shoe and come back to the show to play, not because of the true count theorem.
Again again, the TC theorem states that the cards played during a round must be SEEN and COUNTED, if they are not you can't use the TC theorem.

Also agree, unseen cards are unseen cards whether they are still in the shoe undealt or you didn't see them as they were dealt and they are already in the discard rack.
