This will be viewed as voodoo, to be sure, but it depends how well I am doing. If I am on a winning streak, I will play often, every few days even (at different casinos.)

However, if I take a bloodbath I will take a break for a while, maybe even two weeks. I can get flustered easy after losing a lot, so it is good to take some time to get myself in order mentally before I attempt to nullify the loss. Unfortunately, my weakness is I am prone to "steaming" so taking a time out is very beneficial.

3-4 days per week. The only time I've experienced any burnout is after my vegas trips. I tend to average 10 to 12 hours a day for 8 to 10 days in a row. Usually take a short break after such trips.

I'm good for 12 hours a day and 60 hours a week. The hit you take to your health and life expectancy from failing to get a good night's sleep just isn't worth it on a long-term basis.

once a week? Once a month? Every day? Do you ever 'burn out' from playing too much?
Hi my friend, a simple but very important question.

Since 2 weeks I play 6 days the week about 3 hours, I would play more
hours, but my small home casino, 8 minutes from my home by car,has open
1 table from 20 to 1 the night.

Now my 2 cents, IMHO is much more worth.
If someone wants to make a test whether his system works or not, he
should play as much as possible.

I mean higher advantageplay as tracking or sequenzing not counting.

Before that time I played 2-3 times the week not very consistent.

But now I know where I am with my game.

When I play against a handshuffled game, 1.5 hours driving, I play as long as
possible with little breaks for coffee or a snack because mental stress,
I have to remember always about 32 cards.

regards k.h.

I live a 2-hour drive from any given casino in the area so I don't go as often as I'd like - once or twice a month for 2-3 days and I play about 6 hours a day on the days I do go.

The only time I've burned out was the most recent week-long stay in Palm Springs. I surprised myself - and everyone who knew me - when I realized the day I was leaving that I didn't think I could stand to sit down and play one more hand. I cashed out, ate breakfast - and then came home!

frequency

I try to play as often as possible but often only comes maybe once a week. This weekly session may be three, one or two hour sessions if it's a day trip or weekend trip it's mixed with other card games.

Is that one week a year, fifty two, or somewhere in between? I certainly agree with your thoughts about sleep value.

circa 55days/year for four and a half years now. where it's roughly three or four hours per day, kind of thing. so i think that would be about 742 hours give or take a lot of hours in the last four and a half years.
lol, the other 38,678 hours was probably mostly spent either dreaming about blackjack or worrying over it lmao. i'm kind of compulsive obsessive about anything where there is the slightest chance of making a penny with out turning over any real work.:):cool::eek::eek::whip:
