and how to hide my winnings under the radar?
my max bet $300 x 2 hands.
--take away all my chips quickly during shuffle,
--move to other table / each shoe.
--put a few black chips into my pocket openly, not rathole.
pls give comment.

P.S. wifi or cable for internet access is free at hotel room ?
how much to be charged if it's not free?

I usually drop bets of similar size.

I was sticking mostly to shoe games where i had no problems, for the DD games, I reduced my bet some to 2x 200 or 250, I think for DD games its better to play only 1 hand.

I ran into a lot of heat at the DD games, Just play anon, and play short.

The pit keeps track of EVERY BLACK CHIP, you cn walk away with as many green chips as youd like though.

or have a wife who "drops" by the table at intervals to siphon your winnings for slot play. It would be great camo if it was a ruse which unfortunately it is not!

Pits know where their black chips go. Never rathole black. They call out black action. Openly pocketing black is a better idea. They know where it went so why try to hide it. It looks suspicious. I dont know how many times Ive seen the PB and dealer taking inventory of the chips after a player playing black left.

98% of all hotel-casinos charge for in-room internet access. The price they typically charge is almost prohibitive - $10-$15 a DAY; sometimes MORE. If you're going to spend much time in these places, get a broad-band air card from your mobile phone carrier; about 60 bucks a month.

2x300 is a lot of money to lay down. You could get away with it on the strip, but be careful.

There comes a point where your spread is determined by what action the casino will take, not your bankroll.

Comments: 'take away all my chips during shuffle' and 'move to other table/each shoe', seems to contradict each other unless I am not understanding exactly what you mean. :confused: I also don't think much of openly pocketing black chips. If you aren't hiding the fact, what is the value in doing so? :confused:

Having a rigged one size fits all, predetermined, spread doesn't work that well either. I have also done this until recently, but as moo suggests, what works at one place may be a problem right next door. If you play regularly enough, you need to figure out just what is accepted at each store. You will have more success adapting to what they accept rather than the other way around. ;) That may mean a max bet of $250 at one place and $400 at another and maybe even $700 at a third. This can reek a little havoc with short term swings and variance, but long term results are the great equalizer.

I do the exact opposite. When the dealer starts to shuffle I put out/leave a large bet in the circle. This has worked at least once for the Boss to increase my average.

Heh, I was just re-reading Cellini's book, and all of your above suggestions are 'red flags' for surveillance according to his book. I highly recommend reading it.

I agree on the other points, but is openly putting chips away a red flag? Like coloring up a bunch of green chips, lets say $500, and putting it away. Ploppies do this all the time.

Depending on how much you put away, the PC will track this closely, but does have the benefit of not having huge piles of chips in front of you.

i mean if i take away all the chips suddenly,
dealer has no enough time to count all my chips on the table.

You have a point. It probably isn't as much of a red flag as the other things such as switching tables or quickly taking your bet away at a shuffle, but Cellini says that most ploppies like to show off their money. I don't think openly ratholing a purple chip would necessarily call surveillance to the table, but why call attention to yourself? I think you are better off 'showing off' your chips, even if it means you are booking a large win.

Ploppies do openly rathole chips. Why do they do it? Because they want to guarantee that they keep some of their money. If they lose all their other money, they usually leave (though some pull out that chip if they are truly a degenerate gambler). If you do openly rathole chips, be sure to do it like a ploppy...
