How to handle a back off from an Indian casino

#1
I got backed off from one of my favorite shops and know I don't know how I should go about it because it's an important shop. They told me "You're not allowed to come back." I didn't give them my ID but they have my name because of my players card. I'm thinking I lay low for a while and go back with a disguise of some sort. Maybe longer hair or a hair cut, different clothes, a hat and a player card that doesn't belong to me.
I wasn't read a trespassing act or anything. The security guard who escorted me out put a tiny sticky note sized piece of paper on my lap that I didn't bother to pick up from the ground as I walked away.
I'm worried that if I go back and get caught by facial recognition software or something I could get in to some trouble.

"You're not allowed to come back" is the equivalent of a trespass. Even if it's not, at an Indian casino, they can do whatever they want and you have no recourse.

You handle it like you would any other back off, wait X # of years to return depending on your level of play. The higher your level of play, the longer you wait before you return.

Sounds like you need to move on to green pastures.

I agree with 21forme. Honestly, I’m not afraid to play in Indian casinos. I’ve played in a lot of them. But if I got hard-barred at one and they told me to never come back, then I’d probably never go back. I’ve heard of horror stories take place in Indian casinos. Usually those incidents are rare and might not happen on your first offense. Especially if you’re just straight counting (vs some other form of AP). But those stories are enough for me to not want to test them.

Time to move on.

I should have thought of this before I split tens 4 times....TWICE. God i'm such an idiot. That was an important store.
Do not beat yourself over it. Back off is like death and taxes, they will happen for any or many reasons. The word "important" is the most over utilized work in English. Move in and you will find other "important" places.

I hear ya, i'm going to just take it as a lesson learnt. Do you think I should try to meet with the gaming commission and just stick to my story about being innocent and not counting cards? I know it's a bad idea but if i'm never going to be going back anyways it's worth a shot? If I do meet with the gaming commission I will have to tell them why I didn't show ID and I will have to show them ID when I meet with them. If I do get reinstated I won't go back for a few months to a year but I will use it as a fail safe in case I do get recognized it will be better if I am not barred.

Not a good idea. They will have your real name and ID, which will make them more likely to submit your information to one of the data base and/or to other casinos. You have slim chance of being allowed to play.

The reason you got backed off is NOT because of the splitting 10s play that you did, it's because you most likely won a lot in that last shoe or shoe(s) combined with the fact that the table lost a lot that day and they decided to do a tape review done on that table and then pegged you in the process.

Those that advocate cover plays really have no idea what theyre talking about. If theyre that onto you already where you need to resort to cover plays, you already messed up anyway, so just leave. It could also be theyve been watching you for a while now due to all of your wins and finally decided to pull the plug on you. Backoffs and heat are all due to 'wins' and consistent 'wins'. The only time its not due to that is when its a complete sweatshop where they back you off as soon as you spread to 2 hands or bet a different color.

The key to EV in this game as well as longevity is short sessions, keeping your wins low and within tolerance levels to not get a tape review done on that table, not cashing out after a big win, and last but not least finding tolerant stores with garbage rules where you can camp out all day and make the EV on the backend due to playing so long. You do those things, you can play as aggressive as you want and you should still last very long while still maximizing your EV.

Whats your lfietime win at that store and how many hours did you log there?

I just started playing Blackjack at the casino but ever since I started I have just been destroying them. I won $800 in 30 minutes the first trip then I won another $400-500 almost immediately after sitting down a week or so later. Then I kept playing for the day and won another $300 or so.
I'm trying to be more gentle with some of the stores i'm playing ever since that back off. Last session I went to one of my stores and I planned a 6 hour day but I won $800 in literally 30 minutes to an hour so I just left.
So far all I have done is win ever since I started playing blackjack. I won $1500 in an upswing, lost it back , won $800, lost it all back then just went on a rampage winning about $2700 with no drama.
I will take your advice and not try to return to the casino and just leave it alone. I don't want my face burned all around town even though I have a high level of confidence that the casinos in my area don't share.

Your face won't be 'burned all around town' with a max bet of 2x45. You must have got backed off at a sweatshop. When I first started I also got backed off red chipping, but it was at a sweatshop. That was the only store ever to back me off red chipping.
