I think casinos are fair game because they are offering the game, as a business, with the intention of making a profit off of you. Add in the inducements to lose control, and I think you have an equitable situation by taking advantage of them if you can do it.

The hole-carding vs. donkeys in a poker game meets none of these criteria.

Is there some sort of double standard that casino patrons must adhere to any sort of ethics?
Same double standard as Michigan State Police when the ask to scan the data in your cellphone they say, "If you did nothing wrong you have nothing to hide." And then when the ACLU files FOIA on them they scramble and use every legal possible dodge to not comply. zg

What is your silly friend saying exactly?
What he was actually saying is: "I am a ruthless ponzi-scammer scofflaw gambling loser sexual degenerate
who becomes deeply depressed when people reject me." ...but that's just my interpretation. zg

Not only is their intention to make a profit off of you, but they duplicitously offer you an opportunity to make a profit off of them as an inducement to get you to do business with them. When you acquire the skills to actually avail yourself of that offer, suddenly it's a different story. Poor baby! :violin:
