Hey guys, I'm a 21 year old student who has been card counting for a little while and the casino knows I am counting. The people behind the dealers are all over me and checking me none stop and give me wierd faces.

I am making huge amounts of money at the Montreal Casino. I follow the MIT technique and go 100% by the book and have my own counting method which I do it with the casino chips. From December 2009 to January 2010 I had a streak going on of 37 wins in a row making 14,000$ and this is where they have noticed my ass. Then I finaly lost and now starting a new streak and made about 8,000$ in about 2 weeks.

Should I stop or will they kick me out sooner or later? I am a pretty high roller and I play 100$ a hand (2 hands of 50$) and bankroll of 3,200$ (32 times what I bet each hand)

And they should! With a puny 32-unit bankroll he'll probably go broke even if he's playing perfectly.

Re-read the chapter on bankroll management and bet sizing. Read it today or you might be broke tomorrow. The last thing you want to do is give it all back to the casino. If you keep playing the way you have been, you are guaranteed to lose it all.

You're keeping the count with your chips?! That is not by the book. Learn to do it all in your head before you drop another dollar at the tables. You aren't ready to be playing for real money yet. First get your skills up to speed, then learn about bankroll management. You have another six months of study and practice before you are ready to play in a real casino.

The Quebec casinos do NOT have the legal right to bar card counters. To my knowledge, Quebec and New Jersey are the only two places in the world where this is true.

To counteract this law, all four Quebec casinos cut their shoes in half. The only way to beat the games by counting is to back-count the shoes and only jump in when the shoe becomes rich.

Now let's talk expectation: If you flat bet $100 and back-count shoes with 50% pen, and if you work 10 hours a day; over the LONG run you will AVERAGE about $40 a day!

So you have went on two "streaks" for a total of $22,000 but only a $3,200 bankrolll? 21 years old? 100 dollar hands? HMMMMM
 
It is especially funny when they try to half shoe you in Montreal, casino with 12048123945175 blackjack tables. There is always a new shoe somewhere that the dealer didnt half shoe :laugh:

Word to the wise - do not show up at the table until they burn a card, and preferrably until they have dealt the first round. They can move the cut card up after they cut, but not after they have dealt and I think not after they have burnt.
 
Interestingly enough I faced a new Quebec counter measure today. I adapted to the half shoeing with just wonging in place until TC+1 so now if enter a shoe after the first hand, or at any point miss a hand during a shoe I am flat bet to the table minimum. Assuming I play every hand though I am still able to spread to up to every spot at the table max. A bizzare little quirk.
