If the count is lost, best to revert to flat-bet BS?

Or perhaps approximate the count and lower your unit increases to be more conservative until a new shoe?

Or, of course, should you simply sit out until a new shoe is dealt?

If you miss some cards, you can treat them like any other unseen card. If it's more than just a few cards and your system calls for a RC/TC conversion, then treat them as if they were put back in at the end of the shoe (i.e. as if all of them were "burned"). Basically what this means is that your penetration is reduced by the number of cards you missed seeing.

If you lose the count, it's often best to just leave the shoe. Go to the bathroom, or get a drink or something.

TC Theorem

I leave if early in the shoe, sit out otherwise. But, the True Count Theorem says that the TC, on average, stays constant, so if you lose an extraordinarily high TC, you should stick with it and keep betting big. Be ready for some awesome variance though . . .

I'd recommend we not get into this again...

Depends

Infer from your previous bet.. If my last bet was table max, I'll complete the shoe..
If my last bet was minimum or moderate. I may pass the shoe..

Today was shocked... Less than deck left... TC astronomical... Dealer won all hands till shuffle... 2 players... They stopped , being desperate. I wonged in and lost as well...

Agfter such a scenario fill doubting all counting...
