I am waiting for my copy of Blackjack Attack to arrive via Amazon but had a question about the indices. According to my understanding I should stand on a 16 v. dealer 10 at +0, and stand on a 15 v. D10 at +4.

What is the reasoning behind this? It seems it is pretty much a lose / lose, either I bust or he hits his number. Thanks for the help.

Your understanding is correct. At that point you engage in fervent prayer that the hole card is less than 7 and the draw card is high enough to bust. :laugh:

but, to explain... the probabilities at those counts on the stiff hands suggest that you will more than likely bust if you draw. It gives you fighting chance.
