Investor offers me $10,000 to start my blackjack career

Making someone comfortable with an investment is difficult to do when it comes to blackjack. I know you're in the Oregon area and you played at the Last frontier. How was the penetration for their double deck game?
Also, you should record your results on Microsoft Excel.Showing the investor something that looks like this makes them more comfortable.

How do I open a forum post of my own btw?

Yeah man, you're making a real sacrifice. You're such a nice guy for sacrificing so much for them. I tell you what. I would work for fucking casino comps if I was given an opportunity like that.
Why? What's the great opportunity I'm missing that you'd sit there for a free meal and some other overpriced casino giveaways?

Also, food.....a meal, you say it like it's nothing. There's not much you NEED in life but a meal does fall under that category. Also, they have some good meals. Lets say you hit a positive count early and play a shoe at 60 bucks a pop or whatever your max bet may be then that pit boss will comp you a nice meal. Also, I might be able to buy something from the gift shop. Maybe a nice watch or something.

Hey guys I have been busy here in Portland and my time here is almost up. I have been doing well with the bankroll I have. We will continue the same arrangement with no goal/time frame at this time.

Splittingten's, the last frontier's double deck game's penetration is great. Same for there 6 shoe game. The casino across the street also had great penetration with the same rules but no surrender so I wouldn't bother.

I spent most of my time at a casino down the road from

This site has a private message board to ask such a question.

You do not want to get in the habit of talking about that information on an open forum.

I also have an investor that is offering $10,000 to start. That investor is me. I have given just under 1,400 Uber rides in the last 12 months and about 400 Door Dash deliveries, outside of my regular 9 to 5 job.

Currently on a nice winning streak playing blackjack too. Won my last 5 trips.

This year, I am getting all the blackjacks in the high count. Last year, it was the other way around.

I don't remember the last time the dealer got a blackjack in a high count where the Ace didn't show up first and I bought insurance.

Since you should only be making $16/hr at best with a $10,000 bank roll it doesn't make sense to have an investor. It only makes sense if you and him put $10,000 together to have a $20k bank roll so that you can make around $24/hr OR to just do Door Dash and Uber on the side INSTEAD of playing live in a casino right now.

Two comments/questions: What are your game conditions to be making only $16/hr. with a $10,000 bank? You ought to be able to do better than that by almost 50%.
2) If you doubled your bank to $20,000, why wouldn't you double your hourly win? Why would you think that it would go up by only 50%?

I would choose to lower my risk of ruin instead of doubling my profit.
