Is it worth the trip??

Here is the best game near me. 6d, Lucky Ladies, Surrender, H17.. okay pen. I found its playable with a big spread and wonging out at -1. I don't think I can wong here with it being a small casino with max bet $200. Everytime I do more than once or twice the pit swarms and even had someone make a counting reference once.. not sure if it was a joke but still...

My question is: What size bankroll would make regular 3 day wonging trips to Vegas worth it?
I always played off a decent B roll but never played a lot of time and pretty much always considered my trip roll as spent even before I played so the winning was a bonus. I have made profit over the past years counting very part time but not alot. I would like to put some regular time in. I get a lot of travel rewards through my AMEX but without using them a trip in the AM on day one returning the PM on day three would run me about $350 for everything..

Are the wong chances worth the trip VS. playing at the casino within driving distance?? I can wong count two tables at once and would be going Friday-Sunday for maximum camo. I understand the risks which is why I am contemplating my best route and if it is even worth going for with the amount of BR I would have to set aside and risk losing to make it pay. I am self employed and business runs as usual when gone for a short trip so no loss from work time. I know how to figure ROR and EV just don't know enough about the software to figure wonging into it. I know I would be playing less hands at a lower risk but not how to figure the added value of that vs. playing more hands per hour more risk??

Also, Is it even worth getting a players card and trying to set up comps when planning on mainly wonging?? Would setting up a "home base" casino be worth it when only making it out 6 days total per month. I would focus only on aggresive wonging on a few of those so I could only play at "home base" three days a month. With a BROLL of 10k? 20K? would it be worth it or does it not start paying until you bump it up to 50k+??

Sorry the thread is so long thanks for looking and thanks in advance for any responses.

if you have 10 or 20 k i would go for your trip to vegas. Where are you flying from? I have easily found a round trip flight plus a room on the strip for three nights at $250 from NY. If you want I can help you out with a deal im great at finding promo codes i know i have one that is 100 dollars off when you book three nights with a hotel. If you plan on doing this regularly i would suggest getting a players card and havign a home base like you stated. Harrahs is a popular home base because of their liberal comps... wait for someone esle to chime in here because i am not 100% positive on that....

It seems you are worried about wonging??? Dont... dont be at all it has a huge + impact on your ev. Only good comes from it as long as you are not anxious and impatient

Be conservative, put your win rate at one unit per hour. Add up the number of hours you think you'd play. Compare that to costs. Figure if it's worth it.

Comps are a good way to reduce hotel expenses. Harrah's is pretty bonker with sending out free room offers. The MGM Mirage guys would want to see some actual play.

Thanks for the good advice I will check some promo codes and Harrahs out. I am flying out of PDX or SEA usually.. I can never seem to find a ticket for less than 2bills though lately.

As far as a wong attack. I can never find anything as to how to figure a win rate when wonging. I usually do just figure one unit (min bet) per hour as my avg win to be conservative but how would I figure hourly if I only wong?? Basically all my wonging consited of waiting till TC of 5 or so and throw a couple hundred down. If I set aside a 20k bankroll couldn't I bet more and have the same ROR as if I played all at 200 max? How much more and what could I figure as a conservative hourly estimate is what I am most curious about?? I know I have read a couple books that brushed on it and also a couple sites that went over it but I still have no idea how to figure it??

Forget the conventional wonging , do as much exit as possible, but aggressively, f**k'em - play them like suckers and use every tactic like imaginary cell-calls and pound the game with proper LL betting as well for hours at a time until the cut you off - next time you can go to Vegas. I would imagine that you could wring 2u/hr theoretical, and maybe more if it has a simple to track shuffle (easy cutoff tracking, see ZGI) which is a good chance in a place like this. zg
