KO 1-2D Composite

#1
I came up with this for someoen I met who was learning KO -
A composite blend good for 1 or 2D. I think its right. zg

KO 1-2D 'composite'

Here are my approximated/composite-type 1-2D RC indices for KO:

(feel free to recommend improvements)

INS=+3

12 /2=+4, 3=+4, 4=IRC, 5=IRC, 6=IRC

13 /2=IRC, 3=IRC

15 /9=+9, 10=+4, A=+8

16 /9=+6, 10=KC, A=+7

8 /3=+8, 4=+6, 5=+4, 6=+4

9 /2=+4, 7=+4

10 /10=+4, A=+4

11 /10=IRC, A=KC

A6 /2=KC

A7 /2=KC

A8 /4=+4, 5=KC, 6=KC

A9 /5=+4, 6=+4

XX /5=+4, 6=+4

SUR:

88 /9=+2, 10=+2, A=+2

16 /8=+5, 9=0, 10=IRC, A=IRC

15 /8=+7, 9=+4, 10=0, A=+3

14 /10=+4, A=+5

Thanks for this zg. If you don't mind me asking, did you "port" the index numbers for soft doubles from other count systems?
I used an 'eyeball' approach, no sims involved.
I 'ported' all from a combination of systems:
KO, HiLo, and R7, with requisite adjustment. zg

Ps - Please anyone sees some error or improvement, jump in.

I forgot what the IRCs for 1D and 2D would be (they are different). Anyone? zg

Right.

I took it to 6-8D as well, with the caveat that the indices would be doubled, but I lost my notes. zg
Well, I think one of the reasons for the different IRC's is so that the indices don't have to change between decks.

For example, a RC of +3 (starting from -28 in 8 decks) means approximately the same thing as a RC of +3 (starting from -4 in 2 decks). Right?

Yes but only to some extent - not fully reliable like a balanced system TC.

My composite KO with 40+ indices was meant to be a variant of Advanced KO and not a simplification per'se.
Taken to its extreme it would also work with 6-8D, as well, with the practitioner doubling the indices mentally.

It cannot make it to 6-8D solely with IRC and KC adjustment. zg
