Fact `1: Basic Strategy is figured with the first three cards out of the shoe. Once more cards come out, depending on count, the percentages change.
Fact 2: A new shoe, is as close to being even money, for the player, who is not a card counter. (The house edge for the game is built in)

Tell me, all you KNOWLEDGABLE players, would it be to your advantage to find a game with a continueous shuffle and play the dealer head on.

The average house edge on any hand, no matter how deep in the shoe, is the same as the "off-the-top" house edge after a fresh shuffle. Yes, sometimes it will be higher, and sometimes it will be lower. On average, it's the same.

Thus, the house edge for a basic strategy player is exactly the same whether they are playing a regular shoe, or a continuous shuffler. (There's actually a very small difference, which favors the CSM. It's the 'cut-card effect', and the effect is small enough in a shoe that I mention it just to be complete.)

Having said that the house edge is the same, I'll also point out that a basic strategy player will lose more money against the CSM. Why? More hands per hour.

Besides that, do you really want to encourage the casinos to put in more of these infernal things? If you decide you like to play blackjack, you'll eventually want to move to a more powerful strategy that involves counting, or at least watching the cards that have been dealt.
