losing 10 hands in a row..

#1
I was recently pretty surprised how I couldn't lose more than 6 hands in a row on an automatic shuffler....but could more easily lose 8 , 9 , 10 hands in a row with a human shuffler.

Generally speaking, doesn't it make sense that your more likely to lose 8, 9, 10 hands in a row with a human shuffler...as there's no real way to notice how good & thoroughly they have shuffled each round ?

When an automatic shuffler is used, the odds seem to go more 50/50.

so you already lost 10 hands in a row? How many times? Still not more than 15 percent from all time played?

I have lost 10 in a row more than once. It happens. Doesn't matter what is shuffling or dealing the cards.

Odds are the same, never 50/50.

It might be useful to track how many units you lose in a row as opposed to how many hands, since you can expect to lose more hands than the dealer, but if you play a +EV game, you can expect to win more units than the dealer. It appears to follow that you have a greater chance of losing 10 hands in a row than winning 10 hands in a row. Just a thought.

I haven't lost 10 hands in a row in awhile. (over a month atleast)

Just wondering what people thought on this.

It appears to occur much less frequently with auto-shufflers...

something to ponder..

I think he probably means that it's not worth pondering because your chance of losing 10 hands in a row is not affected by the way in which the cards are shuffled, assuming a fair shuffle. So no, it's not worth pondering, no offense intended.

You want to go lose 10 or more hands in a row? Go Play at the hardrock Casino in Ft lauderdale!!! Tell Me if you have ever seen this the Dealer having Blackjack 7 times in a ROW. And 21, 11 straight times in a row. I have seen it all there. Played there last week the dealer had 19 or above every hand in the 8 deck shoe. Amazing!!! And in one shoe made a hand with 6cards twice in one shoe, the odds of that happening are very high!!!

Well of course you aren't going to lose 10 hands in a row against an automatic shuffler...you don't have any card counters to worry about that screw up the flow of cards. The ploppies will make bad decisions and eat up the bad cards which will correct the flow of cards into your favor. Just make sure you keep a horseshoe in one pocket and your lucky rabbits foot in the other.

When you're playing at a hand shuffled table you need to use a 1,3,4,6,7,9,12,7,8,6,14,1,17,3,5,8,9,5,6,12,0,1,2,54,28,93 progression to offset the bad vibes of the card counters at your table. It also helps to sing Kumbaya to ward off any evil spirits that may be present.

What are you basing this on if you almost never lose 10 hands iun a row? How were you "recently surprised" if it hasn't happened at all in over a month? What exactly are you trying pull here?

Played on an automatic shuffler again a couple days ago. Played for 3 straight hours and couldn't lose 6 hands in a row no matter what. automatic shufflers = very good for my system.

You posted in January that the Hard Rock cheated you.
You posted in May that they cheated you again.
Now you say you went back and lost last week? Why would any person with a modicum of intelligence continue to play where they know they are being cheated?
