More money on the table?

What are the odds of getting 2 times your bet on the table? 3 times? 4 times? All the way up to 8 times your bet on the table if you follow basic stragedy when you can split to make 4 hands and double down after a split? The most I have gotten to was 6 times my orginal bet. 4 split hands and 2 double downs! I have never seen anybody get 8 times the orginal bet out on the table. I'm curious of what the odds are of getting 6 times my orginal bet out there.

I once had 6 and it was the worst kind of split you ever want to see. 8's vs dealer 10. 4 splits and 2 dd's and I lost all of them.

I sure hope you didn't have your max bet out on this hand!

Unless the cards dealt that hand seriously reduced the count, at max bet you are happy to be playing in a casino that offers surrender.

I only had one hand where I put 6 times my bet out there luckily I won that hand with a dealer busts she was showing a low card. But there have been several times where I got 3 times or my bet out and the dealer pulled a 21 and beat all my hands!
I have a therory on how likely it is to get double your bet or more out on the table for double your bet I give it a 10% chance, for 3 times I give it a 1%, For four times I give it a .1% chance 5 times a .01% chance, 6 times .001% chance, 7 times .0001% 8 times .00001% chance or 10 million to one!

May not be exactly what you are looking for but The Wiz Appendix 4 gives the chances of winning from -8 to +8 units on a round in the defined game.

Spanish21 where you can redouble I managed to get out 16. 2 two's with a 6 up, split to 4 hands. Doubled on 2 hands, double double on one (4 units), and did the full redouble (8 units) on the last one.

That's cool.

Hope you won them all lol.

Not publicly asking you to reveal where, but, does this mean you actually have access somewhere to an H17 re-double SP21 game of some number of decks?

Maybe even, long shot here, a 2-deck S17 SP21 game with re-doubles? I think I came across that game once somewhere this side of The Land of Oz, in a time long ago, and, really, had no idea of exactly what to do but played anyway lol. Yes, me, playing without knowing exactly what to do. It was sort of liberating actually.

I've never ever found the former game and wonder if it still exists anywhere.

I just need corroboration I didn't actually dream that latter game, in case that's what your game was, as all I remember I played for like 15 hours, pissing just about everybody off along the way, especially this one dealer, until the new waitress, just beginning a 3rd shift from my point of view, was forbidden to serve me.

That time the dealer busted. However there have been too many times when I've had 8 or more units out when the dealer gets 20 or 21. You just have to say to yourself "I only have to win more than half the time" :+)

Some (but not all) of the casinos in Washington state are h17ddd.
