More players more spread

I got knocked down to about even a few months back and now I am taking another shot for about 5 hours at night on a $5 that probably will have five other people at the table.

If a player can get by with a 15 to 1 spread on a H17, DAS, 6D, NS game with 90% pen and two other players what is the big difference if he can pull a 30 to 1 spread with five other players?

Since I lost bad betting big last time am going to win good betting medium this time. It is the law of math called "my time to get lucky".

What is my ROR with Cinco Benjamins?

That's one possibility. The other is you could lose this time too. The cards have no memory of what transpired for you last time, hence, your time could be now, could be next month, could be never......

90% pen on a 6d, now that's mighty fine pen. Why limit yourself to 1-30, let it all hang out if it's "your time to get lucky".

How much is your BR and how big is your max bet REGARDLESS of your spread?
(Spread doesn't change your max bet) zg

"What is my ROR with Cinco Benjamins?"

No numbers crunched, but...

Smells like > 49%+ to me.

I think that you do not understand R.O.R.

Save that 500 dollars and go buy something nice!!:whip:
No seriously though, you should save that and add to it until you get a bit more..

Dopple -- before you can put out TWO hands of $75 you best have a cash bankroll exceeding $10,000 if the rules and penetration are excellent.

If the game has poor rules, like H17 (without Late Surrender) or poor penetration (<75%) then $12,000 is barely enough cash.

You are in NO position to be playing BJ if you will be so much as moderately displeased should you lose $500.

$500 bankroll spread to 2 x $75. Too aggressive right?
Look at it this way. Losing 3 max bets will wipe out most of your BR. Have you ever lost 3 max bets in a row?

Keep in mind that RoR needn't be lower than 50% for a positive EV game. It very well could be much higher than 50%. In Dopple's case, he only has 100 minimum bets, while it is often a good idea to have more than 100 max-bets. I guarantee his RoR is well above 50%.
