I'd say another misplayed hand is doubling and hand 8 or less, rather than hitting them. When the dealer has the "bust card" up, most people will automatically double any unbustable hand.

add to that just about all soft doubles
Even players who have a semi grasp of basic strategy will often get the soft doubles wrong, but I still like the soft 18 and 9's for a combination of their being misplayed and the amount of money these misplays cost.
