Just had my hottest session ever yesterday. I went to the casino hoping to get in a few hours of play.I went to a new casino today because I have been playing at another casino for a while and wanted to lay low for a while. I ended up winning $800 in about 30 minutes, hopping between pits. I was planning on playing for several hours but after I took them for that much in that amount of time I had to leave. 800 May not seem like a lot but for a 5 dollar player it's amazing lol.

Don't want to burst your bubble, but one of the days the opposite will happen. you'll lose that much just as quickly.

It's the long term that matters.

Well, it is and it isn't. o_O When you say $800 for a $5 player, yeah it seems like a nice win. But if you are a $5 player spreading 1-16 (5-80), that would be 10 max bets. That's a good win, but far from "amazing". Maybe you only spread 1-8 ($5-$40). That would be 20 max bets, now THAT is pretty good win for 30 minutes.

But if that is a substantial win for you and it added to your BR, or whatever, congrats John John...good for you. :)

Back in 2011, I had a pretty substantial win in 30 minutes myself, playing a little higher stakes, green to black. It was actually less than 30 minutes, it was one shoe, although I believe it may have been the second shoe of the session so maybe the entire session was about 30 minutes. That single shoe ended up being roughly one third of my win for the year. :eek: I posted about it on this site, back in the day, in a thread entitled "the perfect shoe", but now with this sort of re-incarnated site, I wouldn't even know how to find it.

Nice run! There is no better feeling than when it all comes together. It's been a while since I've had a killer session (recently being on the getting-killed side of things). But in the words of Bob Prince (Pittsburgh Pirates broadcaster) , right now I have a lot of "hidden vigorish" ;)
