My Negative Progression System

Sonny I've read most of those already. However I did miss Mathmatical proofs (Archive copy). Thanks. I'll concede the system shouldn't work.

I've actually been pretty shocked when I posted this. I felt like people would apprecate it, as I've done well with it. The response wasn't what I expected to be sure. I had never heard of the D'alembert system before I posted, and even looking now there isn't a lot of information on it. Appearently the target and stop loss have no bearing, nor to the fact that has some variations.

People wander in here every at least every few weeks, promoting some progression system that "really works". It gets tiresome after a while, and frankly I'm surprised the responses were as polite as they were!

But kudos for you for recognizing that your system can never work, instead of arguing that it can. It can be a bitter pill to swallow, but by doing so, you've saved yourself a heap of dough.

I might be missing something, but I don't see any part of his posts where he said his system "really works" (or used similar language). He did, a few times, attempt to argue some specific points, but never overall said "this progression will make money in the long run".

Agree with this part of the post 100%. I was thoroughly impressed with the direction this thread took in the last 1.5ish pages.
