Seriously though folks, the $3 tables are so NOT worth it.
You will get so few hands per hour it will make you angry. Assuming you can even get a spot.

I played the $3 6D game at Treasure Island this past weekend. In the middle of the night, there weren't many people at the $3 table, although maybe it was just because the overnight degenerates believed it had "bad cards"; the DD game there was packed. Anyway, I spread $3 to 2x$45 for a couple shoes there heads-up until the ploppies migrated back and slowed down the game to an unbearable crawl. Penetration was better than I've seen in the Chicago area and in Iowa.

FWIW....I would be a little more careful with names of stores. There are people that will travel and kill games. Its a very sad feeling to walk in expecting "your" game and it vanished overnite.
Even if the games are small.....it will happen.

Not worried, it's a huge casino that has been offering that game for years. They're large enough and smart enough to not cut the profit potential (for them) on their games because they got hit by a few counters. They are not vulnerable to advanced techniques, nobody is going to kill their game.

I'm a super-low roller and I doubt I attract much attention. (That's why I was playing the $3 table; I actually can't afford to play-all at a $5 6D table.)
Also I don't think that game is too impressive. The pen is decent but nothing spectacular and I don't know how it compares to Mystic because I didn't have the time to make it there. The rules are nothing special (H17, no surrender). I think at least Mystic has surrender. Further, that $3 table is usually packed.
Finally, a whole bunch of people played that table that night. I wasn't alone for long, and after several hours during which I never bet more than $50, I managed to lose a little bit for the session. I wasn't even the highest bettor at the $3 table most of the time. So I doubt TI cares too much about people like me.
EDIT: I should add that, if I remember right, the table max there was $100 instead of the usual $199 on the rest of the main floor. I could be wrong about this as my memory is hazy. Anyway, I can't imagine how any serious counter could make much at that table. I would also think that a casino benefits from the super-low stakes because the ploppies at a $3 table should play even worse than those at a $5 or $10 table, but there were some truly atrocious ploppies all around there.
I will say this about TI, even though it's only based on the impression I got: Their pit is NOT dumb.

Note that tables at Mystic that offer surrender have minimums of at least $10.
I have seen $5 surrender tables on the graveyard shift, but this is a rare event. I have mostly seen that happen on late weekend nights when there are still many tables open but the level of customers has sharply tailed off.
If you do play graves and you see an empty $10 LS table, there is no harm in asking the pit if you can play for $5. I know of a couple pit critters that would have a good chance of obliging you.
But nevertheless you're going to have to play for at least $5, as they have the 4 $3 tables on one shift on Mondays only. It isn't like TI, which as I understand has at least one $3 table at all times, and 2 when they have more tables open.
