I want to simulate 6D at home and want to get a shoe.

Any suggestions ? or just get any shoe? Is there one type that is prevalent/used most often?

I ask cuz some look like they do not show as much of what is left as others etc. , not that it matters?

Here is where I am looking:

Any where else suggested to buy such items?

thanks

EBAY. search the various gambling supply stores, you should be able to find an acceptable one for less than $10, buy a discard tray while you are at it so you can practice deck estimation.

I forgot about the discard tray. a key component to what I am trying to do.

I have an old 4-deck plastic shoe/discard stack that is good for practice. A shoe and discard is a worthwhile investment, be it 4,6, or 8-decks.

If you don't like to order through the mail, billiard supply stores should also have them; that's where I got mine. You may also want a BJ felt as hard surfaces like a kitchen table are less forgiving on your cards without one. Don't forget two cut cards (~55 cents each) and a bunch of cheap plastic chips for live practice. Good luck!
