Hey, im new here i've been looking around on this site for quite a while and decided to make an account. I've come up with a good system but i don't know if it'll work cuz im under 21 (not going to say exactly how much under) and i've only tried it with online fake blackjack games. it works when i've tried it online but there aren't any true random card generators so the odds are screwed up. If anyone wants to know what it is and they might be willing to try it out, i'll pm you. I don't want this going everywhere on the web cuz i think it may actually work VERY well

If you insist on using a non math based (losing) system I might be able to help let you know what to expect. In a nut shell if you don't correlate bigger bets with your advantage you will lose. What counters do is a progression but it is basing bets on the player's advantage not how our previous bets have faired.

i've been around programmers alot and have talked with them. there aren't any computer programs that can have a true random number generator. i understand that subject thoroughly.

Sorry, your statement "but there aren't any true random card generators so the odds are screwed up" is simply false. The fact that you have been "around programmers" is interesting. I used my first RNG in a simulation 46 years ago and probably have a slightly better understanding.

The programmer i was talking about has been programming for around 40 years and currently makes $300 an hour programming, i've had lengthy discussions with him about this and im sure there are some rng's that are very close to random but they are not totally random. But in this case it might not matter much because it takes about 7 shuffles to randomize a deck of cards and i don't think the casino's shuffle seven times in a row do they?

But, even if the cards were all different, PRNGs have been up to the task for decades and are used for absurdly more complex simulations, like fluid through pipes, air over wings, Mars landings and nuclear reactions. Believe me, simulating a shuffle ain't that big a deal.

They usually don't, but they also add things like strips, washes and cuts which help to distribute the cards in a less predictable way. Also, many casinos use machines to shuffle the cards.

Your system will fail with flying colors. AP's have a lot of experience and understanding as to why progression systems mathematically fail. You will not win in the long run.

After I invented it one summer night in AC and had tremendous success with it all morning, I couldn't decide to exploit it myself or write a book on it. I should have gone the book route. At least that had the possibilty of being successful.

Are you serious ? The minute someone explain martingale to me the first time (I was 8 years old) I tried hard, but couldn't see how it should work. I had put it down to naiveness, but never cared anyway.

Actually, random numbers generated by computer algorithms are correctly called PSEUDO random numbers. True randomness is created only by natural events
However pseudo random numbers are adequte for computer simulations provided that they meet cerain statistical tests. And, by the way, no RNG can simulate a hand suffled deck of card....something to think about when evaluating blackjack systems and a common error in this forum.

I wrote my first simulator that used a RNG in 1962 (let's see..that was 49 years ago) beating QFIT by 3 years.
