I have been reading Snyder's Blackbelt in Blackjack for a week or so and am taking his advice step by step in getting down the Red 7 Playing Strategy. I am trying to create a player on the CV software so that I can simulate play and practice the drills with this strategy and the following game:
6 deck shoe, H17, double down on any two cards, double after split, split aces once, no surrender, face up, automatic shuffler, and insurance is offered. According to trackjack - the casino advantage is 0.613% (but pls correct me if someone disagrees).
I have the basic strategy memorized and can utilize it without much thought and can count a deck of cards with the red 7 strategy without error. I feel if i can set up a player on the CV with the correct rules/settings - i will be on my way to learning this system. It just seems i can't get it figured out because the software only has the Advanced Red 7 Strategy and when I try to create my own strategy i mess it all up. Any help with this would be great.
In addition to the basic strategy, per Snyder's instructions, I also: take insurance at a running count of +2; stand on 16 v 10 and on 12 v 3 at a count of 0 or higher; and stand on 12 v 2, stand on 15 v 10, and dd on 10 v X at a count of +2 or higher.
I am new to this forum and any help would be greatly appreicated - Thanks.
