Next-card EV?

Yesterday, I had max bets out in a big count and got next card info on one hand, so dropped my bet to table min.

Does anyone have a list (or link) of EVs for next-card info?

I'm not at home so I don't have the book handy, but Theory of Blackjack has a chart that gives evs conditioned on the player's first card. I assume the information is also in The Good Book, since it has a large section on next card play.

But, from my recollection, Ace and 10 are the only cards with positive ev (52% or so for ace, 13% or so for 10). 9 is marginally negative, and the others are obviously worse.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for. I knew the only + EV first cards are T and A, so cut my bet to min., but I was just curious about the actual numbers.

If I knew I had a T or A coming, I'd throw down more than my usual max bet. Suppose your TC is +4 and you play $300 at that count. you have roughly a 1.5% edge. A 12% or 50% edge calls for considerably more, if your BR can handle it.
