What are some of your favorite Vegas night clubs?

I have only been to two since most of my Vegas time is spent playing, but I really enjoyed Surrender at Encore and Marquee at Cosmopolitan.

I hear good things about Ghost Bar too! (Palms)

Also, can Hosts get you VIP entry into clubs?

Hosts and even hotel consierge can get you vip access to clubs. My wife and I and the couple we were with received vip access to the club at Mirage.

Surrender-Encore is my favorite..
Marquee-Cosmo
Pure-Caesars
VooDoo- Rio, only for the nice view though on the roof
LAX-Luxor.. Meh, used to be great.. It's alright now.

However, up until my last visit I've always had trouble getting into Marquee and Encore. They wanted my buddies and I to each bring a girl and buy bottle service just to get in.. Otherwise stand in line and having a 1:1 ratio of females is required. Even with slipping the bouncer a crisp benjamin. I have been introduced to a bouncer @ encore who will walk me and anyone with me right into the club for $80-$100 with no cover charge.

EDIT: It seemed as if VIP host service didn't matter unless your host was a host at that specific hotel. Once your host transferred you, you'd get haggled to buy bottle service. At best I had received VIP passes that would only get me into the line without needing to buy bottle service and bring 1:1 female ratio. I can see the whole bringing girls thing but it doesn't feel right when you have a loyal SO at home.

Marquee is overrated and seems to be already dying out. It was the spot just be defaul of being new for a couple months, but is quickly joining Aria's haze and wynn's XS (@ 100 million) as way overrated catering to the LA/Hollywood crowds.

I am not a huge club guy, at least not the strip touristy clubs, but I prefer the places that are just a hair below the top, over-hyped spots. Surrender is one of my Favs and Chateau at Paris seems to be a lot of fun and old standby Pure. But my favorite casino club is off strip, (no not krave...lol) It's Vanity at Hard Rock. I prefer the laid back/easy going college frat crowd to the Hollywood TV royalty crowd. :)

The night clubs of the 70s were awesome - Dirty Sally's, Brewery, John-John's -- they didn't even get busy until graveyard ended and
would go past noon. The closest I found in the last decade was that after-hours club art Barbaric Coast, what was that called again? zg

Don't drink much anymore, not out chasing women anymore, prefer quiet over loud, so when the table games are over I either head over to Pool Sharks or home for a quiet bit of TV or BJINFO. Can anyone say, "Borrrrrring!"

I agree. Marquee was cool, but the line was ridiculous (We ended up paying $100 each to get in to skip the line). Once inside, the DJ was terrible and the atmosphere was only okay.

I recommend Tao. It's not as crowded these days, and I like the outdoor atmosphere during the summer. You also avoid the snobby crowds too.

Yea Tao is snobby, girls are the key if you don't want to get bottle service. Palms Moon Bar is cool at the top like VooDoo. You can pay about $100 and get VIP access to all the Palms clubs, and a lot of the others have similar stuff.

Night Club Operator = The Ultimate Vegas AP. What a f#cking racket, especially if you are a guy. I'd rather spend that kind of money on a pro ho and skip the bullsh!t.

Haha, seriously ! $40 Vodka and a table they sell to you for $1000, that is a business to be in.

$10,000 for a table near the dance floor? What's their cost of goods on that one? HA! I want in!

I don't get it. Can somebody tell me what you get for your >$100 after you get into one of these places?
You get the opportunity to pay $14 for a Vodka Redbull, listen to deafeningly loud repetitive music and hit on some hood rats.

Agreed with a lot of whats been said in here. Especially Dye above post. Last July I paid $32 for a corona and a redbull vodka (before tip) at VooDoo.

Bouncers at good vegas clubs must EASILY make $2000 a night on weekends and that's not even being generous. I'm sure they make more.

Also have noticed that every sexy female is accompanied by a boyfriend/SO.. The ghetto, ugly, fat ones are always single and ready to mingle:rolleyes:

And an incredibly false sense of exclusivity.

Seriously, Vegas nightclubs are the racket these days. Grossly overpriced products combined with strong-arm tactics and extortion, all to exploit the weakest variety of the mammals: the randy human male. 90% of these rubes can't really afford to play the way they do. But they do it anyway, hemorrhaging money with the hopes of impressing someone else and possibly getting laid. I really wish I was in on this scam.

I wish I had planted a flag in Vegas a decade ago. We did have a short lived affiliation with Trump to run a nite at his All-Star Cafe/Kasbah club but it was only for a Monday nite and never truly took off.
I have manyfriends and ex-employees who work in positions of power in Vegas clubs and the money they both earn and generate is truly insane.

What, that's no place to get laid! At least not with a real woman, maybe with some drunk young kid who is going to start sucking her thumb when she sees my siegeworks.

First of all if you want to have conversation you have to be in a place where you can hear each other talk. You pick out a girl who is dressed and acts like a decent lady, make eye contact and say "Hello." At that point you can usually tell in the next minute or two what she is looking for that night. Then it's your job to convince her you're a decent gentleman and willing and able to give her what she needs. Suggest the two of you go for a walk, take her someplace slightly more private, take her by the arm, get the timing right and kiss her (without asking permission, but still giving her a chance to get away) and then go for the gold.

At least, that's how we used to do it! How would one go about getting laid in one of these Las Vegas nightclubs these days? Serious question, because there are probably a lot of novice and journeyman AP's who would like to but don't dare try, and getting the most for your money is part of AP. (Maybe this would be a good sticky topic!)
