But what is human possible speed

Consider - there are 4 hands + Dealer. Dealer deals from a shoe. How fast do you expect the dealer to deal? It is definitely slower than flipping a card from the hand held deck. Add to it the insurance delays and player delays - We should be still okay if we can count let us say on an average 3 cards per hand , 15 cards in 10 seconds. Why are we thinking of too much speed though? So as to have a camo?

From MBJ: "By forcing you to move far faster than you ever would in a real casino, you can build your skill level to the point that you will have spare brain time in the casino. This is invaluable to card counting as it allows you to chat with the pit bosses and other players and to appear as a normal player — not as a counter. This is where you make the breakthrough — allowing card counting to become second nature."

BTW. I would go though a deck practicing counting and could usually tell what the last card was. However when using Casino Verite' I couldn't believe how far off my count was when using simulation software!! I think that practicing with a regular deck is fine but to find out how much progress you've made and your accuracy use the simulation software!

Also, when using the simulation software start out a speed that you can handle then crank it up little by little. Make it so it's barely preceptable that the speed has increased. Then every couple of days or so keep turning it up slightly. In a dew weeks you'll be going so fast you won't realize it!
Yes this is the way to go. CV is an EXCELLENT program. Keep cranking up the speed on the program as you progress. Sometimes, it may take you like a week to get used to the new speed, even if you play hours per day, but you'll always get accustomed to it.

I also like to count down an 8-deck shoe a few times per day because of how large the RC will get when using an 8-deck shoe. On more than a few occasions my RC has hit +/- 50 when counting with level two systems. In my opinion, counting down a single deck is useless because of how little the RC deviates (unless you are forcing your RC to a higher number). Eventually, I noticed that I was quite proficient at counting between +/- 15, but that it got way harder when the RC got higher. Counting larger shoes helped me a lot with this. Also counting by two, in my opinion, is very valuable.

Thanks, I need to practice a bit more - My Dealer speed is about 60% max speed.
