Optimal Bet Calculator

The CVCX Online Data Viewer provides free SCOREs and other data for a few hundred million combinations of strategies, decks, rules, spreads, penetrations, risks and backcounting situations. As it's one of the busiest pages on my site, I generally don't display some of the data such as optimal bets, win rates, EV and standard deviations by count. Through at least the end of the year, I'm allowing anyone access to this additional data. The most useful feature is free optimal bet calculations for hundreds of millions of situations. To access the additional data, use CVCX user password 100. I am also allowing access to the 21,000 graphs in the CVCX Online Chart Viewer. The standard deviations and win rates displayed by the viewer can also be used in the 12 free calculators on the site.

You may pass the password around. http://www.card-counting.com/blackjack-data.htm

Ugly! $1.83/hour at my favorite casino using KO Preferred back-counting. 8D, 70-75%, S17, DAS
Accountants will tell you that the most common reason that a small business fails (and tens of thousands fail a year) is that they don't know they are losing money. Most counters fail. The problem is they really have no idea what their theoretic win rate or risk is given the exact, detailed method of play they use. There are a large number of variables that go into your win rate and risk. Goof up just one of these variables and you are not playing with the advantage you think. I hope these calculators open some eyes.

What unit size? Whats your ramp? $1.83 sounds too low. zg
$5 units. The calculater gave me this ramp, $25@1 $30@2 $50 from 3-6 and $70@7 with a 5% ROR.

When I play I bet $10-15 from -5 to -3 $25 from -2 to 0 $40 from 1 to 3 and $50 from 4 and up. ($5000BR)

Silly question, but when you add in the "backcounting" option, does the $/hr figure account for the downtime during which no hands are played?

Good question and one about which there exist different philosophies. I define hands/hour as hands actually played when backcounting. I do this because I have no good method of predicting how long it will take you to find another table. So I allow th euser to estimate how many hands he actually ends up playing per hour and plugging in that number.

thank you very much for allowing the use of the viewer.
i tryed it out for various circumstances that i could play.
i have a question about a couple of the results.
basically when i set the viewer for:

play all
$6000 bankroll
1:8 bet spread
75% penetration
s17daslsr
hi/lo ill18 fab 4
70 hands/hr
play two hands

and then for
wong in out minus one
$6000 bankroll
1:8 bet spread
75% penetration
s17daslsr
hi/lo ill18 fab 4
70 hands/hr
play two hands

i got the same winrate results for both $4.51/hour .
i would have expected to get a lower winrate for play all compared to the wong in out setting.

best regards,
mr fr0g :D

There are some limitations in the web version as it contains a subset of the full CVCX functionality. Wong in and out cannot be different. Also, don't set the backcounting field to a number equal or lower to the lowest count displayed.

Oh, I gotcha, so if you turn on the backcount options, then realistic hands/hour and dollars/hour are going to be lower, even if you were just staying at one table and "perfectly" wonging whenever the count would demand it.
