Party Poker blackjack

#1
Hello all,

I've posted on the subject of online blackjack before and thought I would post a follow up. In my initial post, I stated that I felt a particular blackjack game did not flow like a blackjack game should and could possibly even be rigged.

The website I'm talking about is PartyPoker. I don't play much blackjack anymore because I live in Oklahoma and we have an ante which destroys any edge and because I believe theres much more earning potential in poker.

While waiting for my tournament to start, I took the 50 dollars that was left in my account and took it to the blackjack table. I wasn't planning on playing to turn a substantial profit, I was merely playing to pass the time. I played no hand higher than 1 dollar except for doubles and splits.

Almost 30 minutes later my 50 dollars was all but gone. I've seen crazier things happen at the blackjack table, but it was the way they happened that irked me.

-First off, the dealer always pulled out miracle cards to turn stiffs into 17's or better. Vice Versa, a 10 always seemed to be the next card on my 13-16. And the majority of the time I busted, they hole card would show a 4-6 to say (see what would've happened had you stayed.)

-Second, I've never seen so many 6-7 card 20's and 21's before. I see these very rarely in shoe play, but it is not uncommon at all for the dealer to use 5-7 cards to make a hand.

I'd played a little blackjack on there with the same occurances. I suppose I should've learned my lesson, however I didn't think too much damage could be done with 1 dollar bets. I did a google search and have seen many many complaints about the exact same things I've just said.

I have played at other online casinos.

-King Solomons, Sands of the Caribbean...etc. And I have no gripes with them. However I'm almost convinced something is fishy with party pokers bj game....

Beware.

Without a doubt, I am too convinced that "PartyingGaming's" blackjack is rigged. And if their blackjack is rigged, god only knows what kind of software they use for their poker which is why I dont play there for either. The stuff that happends with the dealer in BJ is almost comicle. I'm not sure if they are doing it on purpose or by accident, but the software they use needs to be checked and verified.

I would stay away from party poker bj game. There was a thread on BJ forum online about how there was many payoff errors. Place is a burn joint.

Nevermind the fact that what some of you guys have said would border on defamation, but grow up and learn that you won't win all the time, and just because you don't clean up at a particular casino, or, god forbid, actually lose some money, it doesn't mean that the casino is cheating!

I'm getting so p'd off with this.

Look, I've played alot of BJ in my time at casinos and other internet based sites. I am not saying that all internet BJ is fixed, cause I dont believe it is.

However, partypoker is in a different category.

PartyPoker/PartyCasino: We are licensed and regulated by the Government of Gibraltar, and our games are tested by iTech Labs, an independent tester
of gaming and wagering devices to ensure that the games are fair and operate correctly.

Now, shut up and understand that you just simply lost. It is gambling afterall.

Aussie,

I'm personally p'd that you not only comment harshly on a subject with which you have no personal experience but you also chose to personally attack several other posters in the thread.

Had my name been K. Smith, Zengrifter, or S. Wong. Your reaction would've been very different. And you may have agreed with my statement.

However, since you are the expert on the subject and you believe wholeheartedly in the regulations of the site, why not venture to partypoker and play a few hands? After 5 of so 7 card 21's and dealers 4 blackjacks to every one you get..tell me if you don't think something is wrong.

Since you'd argue that anything can happen in the short run (which is true) go back and watch it happen to you repeatedly over and over.

And also, just outta curiousity...What was my risk of ruin of $50 with 1 dollar bets. I'm going to be optimistic and say 250 hands of play??

And if that doesn't do it for you, do a yahoo or google search and read the hundreds of other complaints. Of course you'd argue that everyone will complain when they lose, but most aren't arguing they lost....oh hell nm, if you do happen to venture over there for a few session, come back and tell me what you think. Otherwise continue to be p'd mate.

Ive done the same as you and played some blackjack there waiting for a tournament to start. Compared to other online sites I have found that I encountered many more 4-7 card 21's on PartyPoker. Also every time I surrendered against a dealer 10, the other hole card was a 2-6. So I decided to stay a few times and see what happened, the dealer had a 20 every single time. I'm not saying I think they cheated, I just can relate to what the original poster was talking about. I really don't see a reason for PartyPoker to cheat considering they have so many players, and are a pretty reputable site. But my experience there has been fairly similar to the original poster's.

You are an idiot if you actually believe what they say, simple, if it acts like a duck and quaks like a duck, then its probably a duck. BUT, if you want to go ahead and lose your money there then go right ahead!!;)

It is NOT uncommon for an online casino to be a scam, go to http://www.casinomeister.com sometime and read up, page after page after page of scamming houses.

Some scam online casinos use fake auditors to just lure people into playing thier games while they go theiving away.

"We are licensed and regulated by the Government of Gibraltar"

Gibraltar is an overseas territory of the UK and with 27,000 people on 2.5 square miles is truly a leader in the world of online blackjack regulation. Any complaints should be forwarded to Queen Elizabeth.
