Parx absolutely refuses to reveal the burned card, to
“protect the casino”.
Listen to this stupid policy. After the cut card came out,
a player wanted to know what he would’ve had if he had hit.
The floor supervisor refused because she has to “protect the
casino”. What the f**k?! LOL! The player said, “Even if
someone’s counting the cards, what difference does it make
since the shoe’s over?” The floor supervisor simply shook
her head and said “No. We have to protect the casino.”
I don't know whether to laugh at her or feel pity for her.
A different floor supervisor actually pulled out the basic
strategy card from his wallet and had to stare at it for a
full minute before giving an advice about splitting 9’s.
Before that, he suggested standing on 12 vs 2 (without looking
at the strategy card). How does an idiot like that become a
floor “supervisor”?! Who’s dumber? The patron for asking,
or the floor supervisor for giving wrong advice? LOL!
If you want to play two hands, you must double the minimum.
Parx has terrible options for food.

A job as a floor supervisor is little better than a job at your local Jack in the Box, but it does have it's benefits. For example, you get to wear a suit, look important, and stare down anyone who "seems" to know what they're doing. Oh, and if you do know something, you'd better keep it to yourself because you might make the guy above you look bad, who happens to be the manager's brother in law or his wife's cousin from New York.

I don't mind the rule that you have to bet twice the minimum when playing 2 hands. That is a good disguise to spreading 1-4. I play 2 hands when the count warrants a 4 unit or greater bet. I would get more money on the table with less variance. Furthermore, that rule discourages ploppies from betting 2 hands.

Playing unrated at the electronic table will prevent them from tagging you as a counter. All Parx knows about me is that I visit once or twice a week and wager 10-20 in the slots and play an hour or two of blackjack each visit, I lose $100 each visit on average (ratholing at a non-electronic table) and I give back all my slot winnings (one time I hit a $300 payout and over the course of a few weeks I gave that $300 back in slot play). In other words, I am an addicted gambler to their marketing department. If I played rated every time they would notice that they lost over $1000 to me in blackjack since they opened their table games and on average they would expect to lose more than $50 every time I visit. My spread from 10 or 15 to either 75 or 2x50 generates no heat.

If Sugar House in Philly is similar to Parx I will milk them too.

I was at the Parx and found that the games were !5 , 25 and 50 . The $15 games were minly the electronic betting game . Her the discards are clearly visible in a discard tray . I played one shoe werein the count was moderate + I cashed out !75 a 75 win and the dealer had to call over to the pit crew to get the ok to pay me -- I can see if you wong out of a dew tables and have a decent win at each you will quickly become known to the pit

I played some of the 25 tables and asked to see the bury card -- one dealer showed me others said they could not -- I sadi whats going on that you cannot see the shoe or the discards -- they said they were making it hard for card counters

I also noted a women employee ( alwayson her cell ) walking around the bj pits and it seems she was everywhere that I was ???

Overall the palce was crowded and it was hard to move form table to table-- Half the pits were closed -- I did not see any spanish 21

With time and more pits opening this place may be ok -- late surrender offered --

Most people use Hi-Lo, a balanced system.
KO, an unbalanced system, is often compared with Hi-Lo because of the similarities. The only difference is counting the 7.
There're more powerful unbalanced systems, but I think KO would be easiest for someone who's already wired for Hi-Lo.

You don't have to estimate the remaining deck in unbalanced systems, so their countermeasure has failed even before they opened the blackjack tables. LOL!

KO is very powerful. Understanding KO and how it uses inbalance to simulate deck estimation is useful. I am going to try to put a line chart here to demonstrate how KO lags and leads true count depending on the count and the number of decks remaining in a 6-deck game. KO is designed to intersect true count no matter how many decks remain at +4. It understates the count below +4 and overstates it above, but in the zone where most betting takes place (ie, late in the game) is is very close to TC, and betting guidelines recommend beginning to increase betting at KO -4, which adjusts for the lag effect. Math guys may want to examine my graph for obvious errors; I don't claim to be an expert in these things. I built the graph from a TKO chart posted here on the forum last year.
