Hi mate, forget card counting there, as CSMs make that futile. Look here for BS. Good luck.

Why have you got one of the muppets as your avatar, when I'm sure it's possible to find an image of the warlock Catweazle. Here's one . . .

:)
Well Newb, that is not just any old Muppet now... That is Fozzie, with his magic hat. He always tells me (telepathically) important tips, such as which table to sit at, which seat, when not to hit, when to stand, when to NOT double or not split, when to decamp just in time, good stuff like that. Catweazle is a great wizard, but he is on holiday at the moment in the Galaxy XXYZZNXIA. I'm pleased you take some interest in my avatars, seeing as you don't have one yourself. So just for you, I brought an extra one with me. This guy is sure to bring you luck, mate. Good luck. Now you can always get your toad in the hole is it, as you poms say?... :cat: PS I am not the only Muppet here, by a long shot. A Muppet's job is to make you smile. Same as Schreck.

Hey ebbunite, Usually InPlay is in play, except when he is often not... In this case, if he is not The Joker, he might be referring to a US 'normal' BJ play that is not evident in Australia, called Hole-card. Australia uses ENHC in all of its 13 casinos. (European No Hole Card)
You need not bother learning Hole Card play unless you are planning a US trip.

Refering to ENHC.

Burswood

Burswood blackjack is run on a continuously shuffled set of 4 decks.

A croupier friend told me this so please believe it's accurate.

Katweezel,

Technically speaking, its only ENHC if the dealer takes all bets (including those made for doubles and splits) against a dealer blackjack.

If you only use your original bet against a dealer blackjack, its NHC-OBO (No Hole Card - Original Bets Only), and NHC-OBO is mathematically the same as US-style hole card play since the maximum you'll lose against a dealer BJ is one unit.
