Hi guys. I was in Philly this past weekend. Not only is the Golden Moon only open on weekends, but the Blackjack games are terrible. I'm not really a counter, just a good player... but I wouldn't let my worst enemy play these games. The DD games were 50% or less... always shuffling. Worse was the 6 deck S17 games.. a whopping 60% of the cards were dealt. I packed my bags and went home.

If you are not counting, then you want the penetration to be as shallow as possible. 40% penetration is great on a DD game for a non-counter. If you don't realize this, perhaps you aren't as good as you think you are.

Oh My Goodness! I try to be helpful to you sweeties and you return the favor with a less than pleasant admonition. You MUST be one of those Tea Party Squirrels. I thought all decks with lots of those colorful big cards were good for everybody. Boy, am I stupid. MY sincerest apologies. (I'm off to dye my hair another color)

Dear Ms. Stone:

I think Shad was just trying to illustrate the point when you said "I'm not really a counter, just a good player," the empirical evidence that if you're not a counter, you're not playing with a mathematical advantage (and the statement was simply an oxymoron). And if you don't play with an advantage, the house advantage will ultimately result in life-time losses--despite any temporary wins due to progression systems, other voodoo, or just good instincts. The math is the math.

If you are not playing with an advantage, then every hand you play is at a disadvantage. The more hands you play, the bigger your disadvantage. Thus- constant shuffling is a good thing. You lose less per hour the fewer the hands you play, more shuffling means less hands played, but I'm sure the OP knew this.

Hey boys... she packed her bags and left....Then she took her time to post on this site... I spent some time there 2 winters ago, when they were shutting down the new casino...They leave the crap hole old one open and shut the new one down....thems some smart ones there...
And what the heck were you doing down there in that way out of way casino anyways Miss Stone....its kinda scary out there...
