Planet Hollywood now Harrah's Property - Changes expected?

Now that Harrah's has purchased Planet Hollywood, has anyone observed changes in their blackjack? I never found PH to be great before, but it was generally better than the Harrah's shops--I imagine that's now going to change (more 8 deck, fixed pen slots, more 6:5 single, if not multiple, deck games, etc.).

Also, from what I've read they are merging the "A-List" planet hollywood players club with the Harrah's rewards program in April. This might be good news if I had a good comp rating with Harrahs, but since my comp rating is much better at Planet Hollywood, what should I expect after the merger?

Changes in BJ have already been observed. Want to guess whether they were for the better or not? On weekdays there are only 2 blackjack tables open that are not 6/5. They are 8 decks and h17. More than 2 decks where being cut off. :(

As for comps, you can expect worse. Harrah's has been very tight on comps for a while now.

This kinda of stinks.

PH has some playable shoes in the past. You could wander between Bellagio Planet Hollywood and Mirage to keep your sessions shorter.

It a real shame but not unexpected that they went to 6/5 because of Harrahs..

While Harrahs might have tightened their table comps, their slot and VP comps seem better than ever. I used to get $50 a month in free play from each AC casino, now it's $30 twice a month. They did cut down on the two free buffets a month, but this month I have a postcard that if I earn 5 points at Showboat, they'll deposit $50 into my comp account. Last month, it was Ballys with the same offer.
Harrahs ,Laughlin, just started same day cash back for locals-residents of Southern Nevada, Western Arizona and Southern Cali. I don't qualify so I didn't bother looking at the details.
Harrahs mailings for Vegas seem as strong as ever.

PH Changes to expect

Rules go to ****...no surrender or resplit aces anywhere. maybe a few s17 shoes in high limit room. Limits lowered to grind level.

Updates?

Any updates on blackjack and/or comps at Planet Holleywood since the HET takeover?

My last promo offer from the old Planet Hollywood system expires April 30 and I haven't received any updated offers. My guess is that since I have no real record of play with Harrahs, no more offers will be coming.

Anyway, I enjoyed this property on previous visits and would appreciate any updates that people have about its conditions or any success with convincing their casino marketing department to give new (summer) promo offers based on the old "A-List" players club system.

I was there last month. I don't recall specifics, but there were no games worth playing outside the HL room.
I was at Planet Hollywood in March, and for the first time since they were Aladdin their double deck pen was down to 50%. It was so dramatic a change from the past that I complained to the PC. He said that's what they tell us to do. I played their six deck and was surprised to get good pen all evening (plus they offer surrender and RSA).

At a nearby Harrah-owned property I got 80+ pen last fall, and you know that's not the policy. Houses have policies, but dealers sometimes have ideas of their own. This older dealer liked to converse with the customers and I don't think he liked to stop frequently to shuffle.

So I played at PH. I used up one of my last PH A-list offers to get chips and room.

PH has gone down the tubes in terms of BJ. The pen is worse.

Is it playable? Yes.

Are there better games on the Strip. Definitely.
