possibly scanned my plates in the parking garage...
Would be unlawful (4th amendment). Especially a civilian. My brother's a SGT in the sheriff's office and they can't even search a tag without valid probable cause etc. I've seen those tag readers on cop cars that randomly scan tags and I'm not even sure how they get around the 4th amendment for that, but government routinely pisses on the bill of rights anyway.

I don’t know for certain how got my full name, I’m making an assumption. That’s the only way I can think of that they would have gotten it. I’m very cautious per others advice about playing anonymous. But lately have been contemplating the comps I could get playing at the stakes I do.

They associate a name and license plate # on possible earlier visits while using a players card or ID. Next time you visit and you enter the lot, cameras scan the plate and flag any undesirables. I'd be curious if it's legal to use devices that conceal your plate upon entering such location.

Yea if you can pull it off go for it. I regularly fill my gas tank and eat like a king playing rated. They have a few incentives to play rated like capping your max spread 10 to 1 and playing only one hand. I would think playing unrated would draw more attention.

It's illegal to conceal your plate from view of a police officer. But on private property, parked I imagine you could take it off and toss it in your trunk. I used to do it regularly after my tag was stolen one time. Really no different that locking your doors or locking valuables in your trunk. You can leave your wallet on your seat at your own risk.

Come on up to the U.P. of MI. After driving down the road to the casinos there is so much snow on your license plate you can't even read it. Same goes for snow covering up your tail lights which can be dangerous in a snowstorm.

Been there, done that. Have family there.

Speaking of the casinos. I remember when Kewadin Manistique was about the size of a 4 car garage with one craps table, one Caribbean Stud table, 2 BJ tables and about 40 slots. Free beer while dumping a nickel at a time every ten minutes in those slots.

Yeah, I'm not suggesting anything illegal. But something like this to fool casino cameras. Just don't use it illegally in the manor these fools did.

Yea I wish the FL turnpike was a public road but it's been privately owned for years, at one point by Allied Barton (the security company). The thing with tolls is that they are temporary like the income tax, but then, you know.. socialism and fiat currency lol

Playing unrated at some stores definitely draws a huge red flag, others not so much. Every casino is different. I’ve always been amused by that.

I have been contemplating getting a players card. Or at least playing with someone else’s card. I play green/black. I do not currently play rated however my last back off when I got the tap PB called me by my real name, I felt so deflated.
I've gotten backed off unrated and had pits call me my by real first name (used a players card years ago), friends names (used friends card on different trips) and names that are not me or on any cards I've ever used.

I also once got backed off while playing on a friends card in Vegas and on the way out had security ask me if I was local to which I said no which is true (figured why have them looking out for me) and then asked me my birthday when obviously I knew the birthday of the persons card I'm using. Just thought that was a weird question.

While there are some places I have used a card and don't regret it, for vegas double deck I wish I never used a card anywhere.I'm not a full time blackjack pro but have really gotten back into card counting in the last 2 years and love double deck. I make a few trips a year to Vegas mostly for poker but have about 175 hours in the last 2 years at Vegas DD.On any given trip I may play 15-30 hours of dd bj. I've gotten some free rooms etc, but overall it's just made backoffs happen faster.

How do they not know you're using another player's card? I've seen my license photo show up in multiple casinos in different states. On their little table computer.

I've only used cards of people I could at least pass for

Like I have one where my friend had his head shaved in the pic

So my hair is grown out or I'm wearing a hat

We're the same height similar build facial structure etc
So yes if you looked super hard you'd probably catch it but it's passable for my purposes

A lot of the dumpier Vegas casinos also don't ha e the little computer where the picture shows up either

Also I was gonna get a fake ID made for my courier company. Being in law enforcement previously I'm not comfortable giving my driver's license to civilians, and putting it in their little machines. Nor am I obligated to. I wouldn't give it to a cop who stopped me walking down the street, not sure why I keep giving it to random citizens :p
