Playing basic strategy in UK

Ok so i started playing BJ when i realised I was on a violent rollercoaster playing roulette one day nothing one day £500. I have studied basic strategy and no this pretty well.

The rules in crappy UK for me are 6Decks S17 D9,10,11 DAS No Surrender and No Peek.

Sometimes i can play and do really well and sometimes have terrible luck, Are there any casino's in the Uk that dont use CSM'S? I no that overall in the long run BS will lose me my BR as the casino still has an edge.

Im just keen to play but with this against me its really annoying i started studying The red 7 count and have a good knowledge for the game but will this just be a waste in my situation? Thanks for taking the time to read this and i hope to see some replys on what you guys think cheers.

If all the games have crappy rules like above and use CSM's then yes, it's a waste of time to learn to count. I still would recommend learning to count and looking for a decent game, but I am in the U.S. so I couldn't point you in the right direction for a good game in the UK.

cheers for the replies guys i appreciate it, i have pretty much stoped playing BJ now and am dissapointed that i cant learn to count and achieve an advantage near my casinos (stanleys).

I cant understand

1.Why massive casino's all around the world dont use CSM's to stop counters surely this would make sense? I cant see why they would play from a normal shoe, that could be read by a counter? Especially in Las Vegas where it is notorious.

Well im pissed of that i wont be taking this any further you lucky gits who dont live in the uk, good luck :):cry:

A lot of players wont play on the CSM's. None of the higher limit tables in VEgas have CSM's and a lot of them are two decks, and if they are shoe games they will usually offer Surrender. I love VEGAS!

Damn it, i suppose thats the way to look at it..

Seems like i need to take a trip over..How long would it be ok to stay for? 7 days? is enough... playing BJ and relaxing is what i want to do..Is it not wise to stay at the casino. IM not looking for a massive amount to spend but i would like to now and average for about a week stay in some where adequate not including my BR of course but then again i would be un sure of how much to take for a 5-7 day stay. Thanks again :D
