Poor penetration with lenient 2 hand policy.

Last one for tonight.

A local casino offers a DD game that has a poor penetration of 50% most of the time. The rules are good. You can bet 2 hands anytime you want. If you stop betting 2 hands during a shoe you can resume betting 2 hands once again during that same shoe at any time. Many times you can play one on one against the dealer and often there are only 1 or 2 other players. I know that the poor penetration is a negative but with their lenient 2 hand policy is this game reasonably beatable.

The other thing about betting 2 hands, only your second hand wager needs to be double the minimum, the first can be the minimum. Never seen that before.

It sucks, there are much better 2 hand policies out there first of all.

The only way this game is redeemed is if the rules are good. This, along with being able to play heads up, could make this game marginally worth playing.

I would argue that being able to get away with a huge bet spread is the only way this game becomes marginal heads up. If you can spread 1-20, then you should be able to get a SCORE above 30 on a H17 DAS game. Spreading to 2 hands on the last round helps a bit.
