Post your California blackjack results

How have you guys done regarding blackjack play in these indian California casinos? Can these games be trusted? Can indian sovereign governments be trusted as a proper oversight of these stores? I'm not worried anymore about any possibility of cheating regarding regulated casinos such as in Vegas, but now I wonder about Indian casinos. I've heard some horror stories before and just want to know if anyone here have beaten them over a large sample size. I'm not so worried about their double deck game since they do indeed show the cards, but what about their shoe games?

Post your results guys. You don't have to give specific info, but just your general win/loss at each place as well as your hours or if you don't want to give away the specific place just post your statewide results and hours played in Cali.

Playing red chips I am probably 500% above expected value on their shoe games over the course of about 50 hours of play.

My sample size is small. I've been been to So Cal once and got backed off at Harrah's Rin Con, Valley View, Pala, Barano and Viejas. I think only won about 3K total and played 12 hrs. I played Pechanga and never got backed off.

I'm at work, so I don't have exact numbers with me. I have played at a number of northern California Indian casinos so here's my general thoughts:

Decent: Cache Creek, River Rock, Twin Pines (haven't played Twin Pines yet but supposedly decent)
Acceptable: Red Hawk (plenty of tables but poor results there)
Avoid at all costs: Thunder Valley, Graton- absolutely nothing to play at TV unless one is in the $100 minimum High Limit room.

I still have just under 50 hours overall play and I'm slightly down. I would rate Cache Creek the best. At least the dealer stands on soft 17 and I've had my best days there.

Almost all of my blackjack play has been at Indian casinos. All of it in the Midwest. I would estimate over 10,000 hours of blackjack play in Indian casinos, and yes I'm a lifetime winner.

Both... but mainly So Cal. I played rated at Harrah’s So Cal like an idiot. I got backed off in 20 min, which was almost no doubt because they looked my name up in the databases. After I got backed off there, I was getting quickly backed off at other properties. One place backed me off before I could buy in because my photo was on their podium.

I took a visit today to Twin Pines, which is in Wine Country. Played for about an hour until the count went bad, left the table, walked around a bit and came back in 15 minutes. The seat I was in was now taken, and nobody else left. There was only one other table; a double deck game that was full. I decided to take a lunch and came back at least 45 minutes later. Nobody had left either table. I talked to a dealer and she said "when the pit boss comes back, he will open another table". So I go watch the NCAA tourney show in the bar and wait for the pit boss to return. When he comes back, he opens a new table: one for 3 Card Poker. Nobody had left their seats at the two tables. I gave up and headed for the parking lot. Spent a lot more time driving than playing.

Interesting. Was this recently? I'm assuming you were either playing in the High Limit room or hole carding? Maybe the double deck games were ok, but in my only trip there, they were jammed. Everything, and I mean everything else, was CSM.

LVBear can prob speak for himself, but he’s been semi-retired from full time play for a while. But I played TV late last year and I played a decent DD game on main floor.
