I started playing online 5 days ago, my net profit so far is $670 USD (about 134 USD per day, all on my free time...I'm a working man!) My average bet is about $16 USD and my minimum bet is about 1.70 USD and my max bet so far is about $115 USD. About $210 USD are from bonus and comps. Total, I have played 11,706 rounds of Blackjack. I'm off to a good start!

Bring on the chicken dinner!

Dear Picasso

You have to understand, that the only way you can win based on this forum is:

1- count cards...and then you can only win
2- if you can find a casino wth favorable rules, and then you can only win
3- if you don't get "heat", and then,
4- you might lose anyway.

It makes no difference what your experience might be...and if you insist that you can win anyway, you run the risk of being banned from posting here.:whip:

LOL.. not true.. you could possibly play 1000 hands in a row and not lose playing only basic strategy. (however unlikely)

...to play with an edge. To win in the long run, every player needs an edge that overcomes the built-in house advantage.

If picasso would kindly explain how he purports to have a valid edge over the online casinos, everyone on this forum will stop to listen.

Till then, his fantasies involving domestic fowl are of limited interest.

I'm not insisting on anything, all I'm saying is that I'm winning. When I played Miami Beach Casino I played for over two months, and at one point my winnings were in the thousands, all on a minimum bet table of 10 cents!! Maybe I will stop posting, people do not believe anyways. To win, I need to find a casino with the right playing conditions, otherwise I won’t play. Ok PrinceDragon, I will post my profits again in about a month from now. Wish me luck, but it's not all about luck; 11,706 rounds of blackjack is a lot in 5 days.

Hey fredperson, that whole "card counting is too hard" excuse is getting old. If you can't figue out how to make it work, try some of the other techniques we discuss. Don't be so closed-minded as to think that card counting is the only way (although it is the easiest). Stop complaining and learn how to play!

Yes it is, but for the purposes of evaluating long run results, we should be looking at ~500,000. So don't be chicken. Keep playing, and good luck.
That will take about a year, or more. No rush, by then I hope to have enough to buy a small rotisserie.

Ya know I wondered that, if anyone has ever been a lucky enough son of a gun to actually win really well and profitable using only basic strategy! Now that's luck

That is nothing. Before card counting, I used BS and a betting strategy. At one point my win was more than 200 units. The funny thing is after counting, I am still trying to beat that record.

A Winning System

I don't count cards but a customer of mine who ran the Castaways in Las Vegas (Mirage has replaced it) many years ago taught me a system, which I have used successfully for over 25 years. I don't play online but I practice at least 15 minutes minimum every day and I visit Las Vegas and Atlantic City about 4 or 5 times per year.
It's based on winning a predetermined amount or losing a predetermined amount. I don't win everytime I play at the tables but over the time I'm there, I win. I've only left Las Vegas or Atlantic City in all these years a loser once.
The system is methodical and is based on doing the same thing over and over. I was playing in the Wynn last May and a guy next to me quickly lost about $5,000.00. As he left in a huff he said to me, "I could play like you but that's boring!" I was up about $625.00. The dealer even laughed saying he didn't realize it was so boring to win and exciting to lose. I played about another 10 minutes and walked away with $550.00. See it doesn't always go up but I don't chase. On that trip I left with $3,150.00.
Many of you will doubt me; so be it but I'm not selling anything.

No, flat betting requires you to win over 50% of the time or to count on winning on all douuble downs. I just practiced and won $500.00 with winning only 42% of the hands.

So you must have used a betting progression. I used one before and at one point was more than 200 units up. Then I lost it all back. Based on simulation, betting progression is doomed to lose given enough time.
