Question about casino verite

Hello,

I'm relatively new to counting cards and trying to learn the Uston APC strategy as I am currently reading his book. I've been doing a lot of the drills to try to increase my speed and when I found out about the casino verite software, I immediately bought it to help with my studying. It asks which strategy you will be playing and unfortunately, Uston APC isn't in there. Does anyone know where I'm able to download certain strategies from so I can input them into the software? Or do I have to enter all the info from the indices myself? Thanks.

Also, if anyone else uses this software, which advanced strategy do you recommend using? Thanks in advance.

Just create your own strategy. If your using CV. it should not be a problem.

That's the beauty of CV! I was able to input my modified KO count for 6 and 8 decks, along with my betting strategies. Use the help menu if you need specific assistance; its really good! Its like anything else, practice and time in the water!

Best of variance to you!

I am pretty sure you have to use an existing strategy that is in the menu, name it what you want, and then modify it to match the strategy you want to learn. I have done this and it is working well for me.

Absolutely NOT the correct system for you.
Uston himself proclaimed in 1986 that is was "obsolete." (See "Uston on BJ")
The Uston Plus Minus in MDBJ is okay, but its weakness is the 1/2D TC. It should be re-calc'd to a full deck TC.

Uston's last and greatest count was the SS, but that was further refined, simplified, and improved as UBZII (Unbalanced Zen) requiring NO TC.

The flip side of UBZ requiring a TC are ZEN and Mentor, both simpler than UAPC. zg
