Question for Experienced Counters

#1
Hi
This question is for people who have mastered card counting and have casino experience. I was wondering how much time you would say you have spent in casinos card counting, and how much of a profit (if any) you made?
Thanks and Good LucK

NOT MUCH!

It is the most important to realize that card counting won't make you rich. What's more it is not even enough to make decent living.

I am not saying this to scare you or to keep card counting a little secret! It is a cold truth. The best money you can make of off of card counting is writing books about it and having seminars, and teaching other people for money how mathematically you have advantage. That's how all big card counters make money. All those percents and advantages melt very fast in casinos.

Yes it is correct that we gain advantage, and mathematically we should make about 1% - 1.5% wagered money.
That means:
if you play $5 minimum table, in six deck shoe, and you use Hi-LO counting, and spreading your bets $5-$20-$40-$60-$80-$100 your average bet will be about $40 and probably a little bit more. Now if you are dealt 60 hands per hour , that means that you will wager $40 X 60 hands = $2400 per hour.
1% of that money is your profit , about $24 per hour. Now the more you work the more you make.
Cool 20 hours every week and every month that is about $2000. Even in theory that is nothing special, to make more money you will obviously have to wager more, which means more heat from Pit Bosses. Even spreading at $5 minimum with 1-20 bet spread you'll probably "get heated". Which means that you cant just sit and play in one casino 40 hours every week. They just simply won't let you. The only place that you can make significant amount of hour playing is Vegas because there are so many casinos. But pretty soon your face will become very familiar, and Vegas won't be enough.

Have a PLAN and stick to it. If somebody wants to make card counting profession in my opinion that sounds very silly. But if you see it as something that will generate additional income while having fun that is perfectly OK.

Profitable BJ play is possible if you are member of team, that uses card counting, shuffle track, and have pretty nice big bankroll.

Remember always this: Pit bosses are not morons, they know everythin you know, probably even more, and they can spot counter easyly ( in 20 minutes maybe, but it takes few hours to determine if you are the one with adventage). So there is no camouflage. The best prove is that all the people that write books about counting can't step in any casino in USA, but still tell you how to make sure not to be obvious counter and how not to get barred! There is nothing that you can do to camouflage and be complitely invisible because your bets talk about who you really are!
