I was playing Sp21 and the husband/wife next to me was groaning to each other about me taking dealer bust cards, jumping in and out of the game, making poor plays, etc.

Finally, one says to the other, after several buyins and seeing my chip pile grow over a couple of hours, "he sure is lucky for being such a poor player."

whats funny is soem parts of the country view spanish 21 as THE game with the best odds. I was told more than once dealing by players that regular blackjack was a "suckers" game and spanish 21 was where its at. I do have to admit just playing BS my biggest wins have occured on SP21 tables, but my biggest and fastest losses too have been there due to Double Double Downs

i dealt the super 7 bonus 2x to the same girl, funny as hell thing was both times she was playing $25+ a hand up till that hand when she basically put her leftover red/white chips totaling $24 as her bet.

In Atlantic City, SP21 is the game with the lowest HA. At least it was. I don't follow conditions there since I no longer play there.

My favorites are along the lines of "I don't care if it's Spanish 21, it's still blackjack, and you never hit a 12 vs.6 in blackjack."

That's if you get a guy who thinks he's a blackjack player at the table. To everyone else, it's just a felt slot machine.

I get the same **** in 3 card poker.

"The game is all about the pair plus, why wouldn't you play that?" I usually ask them why they make the ante bet at all if it's all about the pair plus. They seemed stunned enough by this to leave me alone.
