Red Seven Indices

From Arnold Snyder's Website:

"Any time you are at 0 or higher (any number of decks), stand on 16 vs. 10 and on 12 vs. 3. (According to basic strategy, you would hit both of these.) After you find these strategy changes easy, there are a couple of others you can add that will increase your advantage a bit more. At running counts of +2 or higher, with any number of decks, stand on 12 vs. 2 and on 15 vs. 10; and double down on 10 vs. X."

What about games that offer surrender? Instead of BS saying to hit in these situations it says to surrender. Is surrendering the better play here or staying?

When it's a choice between surrender and stand, surrender takes precedence over standing. In certain cases (8-8 vs T), surrender takes precedence over split.

When do you surrender 88 vs T? Unless this is an indice I don't know of.

Red 7 doesn't have an indice for surrender. This is actually a basic strategy move.
So what trumps at the higher counts? Surrendering or standing?

At the proper true Counts, both 8-8 and 7-7 are “surrender’able“ hands for those who wish to reduce their flux.
