ROR EV software?

I downloaded a free version of CVBJ V4.I am still trying to figure it out but I am wondering if it is what I am looking for. Is there a better software just for calculating EV and ROR? I haven't put too much time in this one but why do you have to type in end goal and get a probability of reaching that goal??? Is there a way to give some info about what you're doing and get a ROR and EV? Also when playing DD 200-800 spread on the same bankroll with 6D 50-800 spread wouldn't your ROR be close to the same even though your unit would be 200 or 50? How is that taken into account on the software? Also I was looking for something that takes the rules and penatration into account?? Like 4.5 decks would have a higher ROR than 5 right? It has been a while since I number crunched by hand and would rather have a CPU do it for me. Here is what I was trying to figure maybe someone can point me to an easy to use software:

6d spread 50-800
DD spread 200-800

BR 100k. Play all wong out at -1.

Thanks

That would be CVCX, not CVBJ.

I was playing with the demo just a little bit this morning and I am still wondering when doing ROR its in units right? How would that take into account whether or not you're playing DD SD or 6D which could have the same ROR with a smaller unit (min Bet) for 6D than is needed for DD? Also no account for pen??

The standard RoR calculation uses EV, SD and bankroll size. The first two will change based on the game (DD, 6D, different rules and penetration, etc.) and your playing style (Wonging, different spreads, etc.) so it automatically accounts for different game conditions. The number for your bankroll will change based on your unit size so everything you mentioned is covered in the formula.

White Guy...

be aware that the demo versions of CV software use an altered deck meaning all information generated is incorrect and useless. You will need to purchase full versions to get any usefull data.

There is free software call Powersim which you can use to calculate ROR & EV. It is limited but you might find it usefull if you don't want to purchase. You should be able to find a download link from a google search.
