If you're so unlucky as to get tails 100 times in a row, it's a wonder you haven't been struck by lightning in the middle of a car accident right on the fissure of a earthquake during a hurricane by the time the last flip is done...

Even though probability is in your favor, the downside is not commensurate to the reward. There are way too many ways to make 100 bucks with even less risk.
On the other hand its a near sure fire way to make a quick sawbuck. zg

are the odds close to 200 to 1 or are they closer to 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 to 1 that you would flip a coin heads 100 times in a row?

The title, Russian Roulette, reminds me of an armed security guard I once knew. They say he was playing Russian roulette to impress some girls he had met. Apparently, he was making sure there was no bullet in the whatchacallit, firing chamber?, but what he didn't realize was that the cylinder advances each time the trigger is pulled, so that the bullet is inserted in position to fire as the trigger is pulled. He blew his brains out. True story.

The exact answer is 1,182,334,413,310,911,973,934,685,365,376 to 1.

That's how many times on average you would win the bet, but you could lose on the first try. But since you're only betting your life, those are pretty good odds, aren't they?

You should consider the possibility of being scammed or tricked. That might reduce the odds considerably, say, to absolute certainty.

The gambler's rule of thumb is, "Never bet a man at his own game." A related guideline is, "If it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't true." Lastly, "There's no such thing as a sure thing!"
