I want to add shuffle tracking to my game plan. My teammate says the cookbook sounds like its just an explanation about ST doesn't work or something. But he is real into cv and says there's an $85 add on for it. Worth it?

Yes I have it, and I would recommend it. If you are going to get into ST, then $85 should be a small price to pay to help you map all your local shuffles.
