shuffles in NY

Has the shuffles changed in NY at alot of stores or is it just a chosen few. I went to a local joint the other day and to my surprise they have an long drawn out shuffle that takes forever to complete. I think these places are really misdirected in their attempts to thwart threats that aren't there. Even my wife who is not a player commented that they are just hurting themselves by loss of play time. How come it's apparent to a non player but not to store exces?

Oh, it's ridiculous. I'd bet there's maybe 10 people in the country with the bankroll and skills to be a serious threat to even a relatively simple one pass shuffle.

Its good to see that you're still doing battle with the casinos. I've been away from the game for a long time now, but still play about once or twice a year.

I played in Oct at Turning Stone on their $25 double deck game. They were letting me double after split the first time I played so I assumed that was the rule. They were cutting off 1 deck so it wasnt a good game.

I may try the game again since you say they are dealing 67%.

Do you have to double your bet to play 2 spots?
