Shuflle Machines & Basic Strategy

#1
Hello my friends!I would like really know if Basic Strategy works against Shuflle Machines (one 2 six).I suppose that every pass is a new one and that is good for BS but i don't know if the shuflle is <good> enough.

CSMs are awful

The best way to play against CSMs are to not play at all! Hand shuffled games are much better. You get to take a break and you won't lose your money as fast.

BS is based on only 3 cards out of a deck or shoe. Your two cards and the dealer up card. With that in mind, I've always been under the impression, that a CSM is ideal for basic strategy. If you are not a card counter, I think you should look for CSM's. The drawbacks are the game is much quicker, so the more hands you play, it is inevitable that you will lose.

On a CSM,are the cards in play this hand available for the next hand? Or are they being suffeled so the earliest they appear is the hand after?
having never played them,I was under the impression that dealer deals hand A,complete round, puts cars in the machine and they shuffle while dealer deals hand B.

It varies Bear. Some casinos will stuff cards into the machine immediately after the hand in which they are dealt. In other casinos, they might wait until several hands are dealt. Just in watching the play at CSM tables, I've noticed no delay between stuffing the cards and pulling out the next hand. I doubt that there is enough time to incorporate the used cards randomly before the next hand is dealt but that is just supposition.

In the Indian casino's in San Diego all of the machines have a resovoir containing so many cards. The cards from the last hand do not make it into the next hand.

There is no way that the first few cards can be from the previous hand but it is hard to say after the first 8 cards.
Alot of it will depend on the dealer. If they pack the previous hand of 18 plus cards you could get some.
Some dealers only pack them after they have 15 or 20 cards.
I only use BS so the left over cards or shuffled in cards do not matter.
