Split 10's in KO?

i know this question must be old

but i cannot find the right index numbers for splitting 10's.

In the book there is no reference to it and in CVBJ neither.

Is this because the index is "RA" or draws attention to the pit?

i think the index for a 6 or 5 dealer upcard is necesary because you always have a big bet riding on those indexes.

Can anyone help?

I think they purposely left it out because of the heat splitting tens can bring.
It is not a particularly risk adverse play. You would split at a count +1 higher than the point which you stand 15 vs T and 16 vs 9 (and the risk adverse double down 10 vs A). Also DD s19 vs 4, s20 vs 5,6 split 9,9 vs 7, and 9,9 vs A.

I've been wondering about those plays. Where did you get them?

I have run the indexes for different games but it really depends on the rules and pen you are playing against but the best all around numbers to use are split against the 5 or 6 at 3 above the pivot for any amount of decks.

the correct answer is:
+5 against dealer 6,
+6 against dealer 5.
easy enough to remember.
or +6 for BOTH i.e. +2 above the pivot point for KO which is +4.
In both cases this will roughly correlate to a TC of +5 in hi/lo.
