switching to shoe games

I'll take the shoe game every time! Dat,Das,LS,Good Pen, Wong In,Wong Out, Hot Shoe now and then, say ooorah! Even the great Ian Andersen said in Burning The Tables if forced tochose he'd go with the shoe game! What more can I say? He also mentioned he was impressed with the KO count.(personally I use KISS III and I'm real happy with its results)
Good cards! BTW-Sometime ago I was checking out this casino and noticed NMSE signs on the single and DD tables-no such notice on the tables with 6 deckers! LOL!:joker:

How does open source UBZII 0.5 compare to TKO? Which is stronger for a 6 decker? I've never seen the two compared they usually generically compare it to KO or another not specifically those two. Thoughts

I searched around quite a bit and talked to some knowledgeable people who ran some sims and basically on 6 deck there is no discernable difference. At lower spreads TKO is a little stronger and at higher spreads UBZII is a little stronger...so spreading properly you'll gain a minute advantage with UBZII. If you only play shoe games then upgrading is a waste of time. If you play a decent amount of pitch games then it is probably worth it if you can play at the same speed with a similar error rate.

As far as studying up for a final move to Zen, no need. UBZII is as strong as Zen when you use "true fudging" and an easier upgrade from KO than Zen.

Good luck on whatever you decide. I found it interesting and definitely feel like i've learned more about blackjack in general from learning a new method (and the research that came with it) but doubt i've really gained much in EV.

Fantastic!

Thank you for the answer Rev! Greatly appreciated. All I have is shoe games for as far as the eye can see.

Concur, but unless one uses a composite-compromised version the UBZ lacks the flexibility to move between 2D and 6D with the same indices, which is very important to some. zg
