Table games approved for Charles Town WV

Voters in Jefferson County have approved a referendum to allow table games at Charles Town races and slots. This will bring blackjack to within an hour or so drive time from the Washington/Baltimore metro areas.

Apparently they feel they could have table games ready in 6 months. I have to say though, the place is a DUMP!!

I don't mind a close in dump if the games are good. Hope it's double deck. Do they still allow smoking at Charlestown?

Not really a dump in the dirty, run down sense. Just inexpensive, simple construction.
And yes, you can still smoke there!! :cool2:

Last time I was there, over two years ago, there was so much smoke you could hardly see across the room. It is not a good place for folks with allergies.

Aslan, even if they did have DD, I'm not sure I'd go back for the reasons you described. In addition, there is nothing to do there besides gamble.
